Mikuru Bandou (坂東美久龍 Bandō Mikuru) is a character in Re:Stage!. She is a member of the unit Tetrarkhia.

Character Description

Appearance

Mikuru has slanted reddish eyes and short brunette hair that is mid-neck length with several strands sticking up or out. Her bangs are mostly brushed to the left with a split on the right corner, with her bangs partially hidden by her longer forelocks grown on that side. She has two streaks of gold.

Her casual attire is cool and feminine, composed of details like a collar, a miniskirt, and a jacket or parka.

She wears an outfit matching her unit mates, but with a pair of miss-matched stockings. One is striped at thigh length, while the other is black and ends inches above the knee.

Tetrarkhia's leader

Mikuru is a third year middle school student. She is strong and grabs many opportunities to interact with others, which makes her the leader of Tetrarkhia. She gets embarrased of her name being Mikuru.

Etymology

• The name Mikuru means "beautiful" (美) (mi), "long time" (久) (ku) and "dragon" (龍) (ru).
  • Mikuru consists of a character, 龍, which means dragon, from 青龍 (which may be written as 青竜 or 蒼竜 in modern Japanese), which means the Azure Dragon representing the east direction in the four symbols.
• Mikuru's surname Bandou means "slope" (坂) (ban) and "east" (東) (dou).
  • Like the other members of Tetrarkhia, Mikuru's surname Bandou consists of a cardinal direction, 東, which means east.
